MIXED-USE CITY FRINGE

Residential Mixed Use Regeneration

ROYAL MINT STREET, TOWER HAMLETS, LONDON

DEVELOPER CLIENT

Planning consent was obtained for mixed-use development upon this challenging site that is located in the transition between borough designations as well as character settings, forming a backdrop to the world heritage site of the Tower of London.

The proposals for 65,000sqm of mixed use development including 200+ bed hotel, 350+ residential units, commercial SME space and community uses was carefully considered to take account of the constraints of the site. These include the enabling of development above the DLR and adjacent to network rail lines and working within a primary listed view corridor.
