A detached family house in Esher was transformed into a new contemporary home. The original house was designed to suit the 1920’s lifestyle, but the clients wanted a light, bright open-plan space to accommodate their young family as well as, on occasions, their extended family in UK and Europe who frequently come to visit. So their home had to have flexible space.
We were appointed to work closely with the client’s mother, an architect in Italy, and address any issues concerning the design and detailing with regards to planning and building regulations. We recommended the builder who did a great job working closely with us, the structural engineer, the client’s mother and the sub-contractors from Italy.
The completed home was a result of a combination of skills working closely together … and great team spirit!
